GB 6345《信息技术 汉字编码字符集（基本集）32点阵字型》分为四个部分，本部分为GB 6345的第4部分。
GB 6345的本部分规定了GB 2312-1980中图形字符的32点阵仿宋体字型，适用于各种电子信息产品、各种数字化产品，也可用于其他有关设备。
本部分代替GB/T 12034-1989。
本部分与GB/T 12034-1989相比，主要变化如下：
ａ）为了进一步提高字型质量和保证标准间的协调统一，本部分增加了GB 2312-1980中规定的字符部分内容；
ｂ）对上一版本中不正确的汉字字型进行了修正。
