【摘要】:Thisproductfamilystandardappliestoequipmentforresistancewelding,arcweldingandalliedprocessesdesignedforuseinindustrialordomesticenvironments,includingweldingpowersources,wirefeedersandancillaryequipment,e.g.torches,liquidcoolingsystemsandarcstrikingandstabilisingdevices.NOTE1Alliedprocessesareforexampleresistancehardandsoftsoldering,resistanceheatingbymeanscomparabletoresistanceweldingequipment,electricarccuttingandarcspraying.Thefrequencyrangecoveredis0Hzto300GHz.ThisproductfamilystandardmaybeusedtodemonstratecompliancewiththerequirementsofDirective2006/95/EC[1](neededforplacingelectricweldingequipmentontheEuropeanmarket),withregardtothelimitationofhumanexposuretoelectromagneticfields(EMF).ThereareadditionalrequirementsintheDirective,whicharenotincludedinthisproductfamilystandard.NOTE2TheDirective2006/95/EC[1],Article2,stipulatesthattheMemberStatestakeallappropriatemeasurestoensurethatelectricalequipmentmaybeplacedonthemarketonlyif,havingbeenconstructedinaccordancewithgoodengineeringpracticeinsafetymattersinforceintheCommunity.ThisproductfamilystandardmayalsobeusedforassessmentregardingtherequirementsofDirective2004/40/EC[3]ontheminimumhealthandsafetyrequirementsregardingtheexposureofworkerstotherisksarisingfromphysicalagents(electromagneticfields)orRecommendation1999/519/EC[2]onthelimitationofexposureofthegeneralpublictoelectromagneticfields,providedthatnootherrelevantfieldsourcesarepresentincloseproximity.Ifotherrelevantfieldsourcesarepresent,additionalassessmentisnecessary.NOTE3Itshouldbenotedthatthesupplierofspecificequipmentmightnotknowtheoverallexposureenvironmentinwhichtheequipmentisbeingused.Thisproductfamilystandardcanonlybeusedtoassesshumanexposurefromthespecificequipmentunderevaluationwhenbeingusedinaccordancewiththesuppliersguidelines.NOTE4Assessmentproceduresforworkplaceswithmultiplefield-sourcesmaybefoundinEN50499[7].Otherstandardsmayapplytoproductscoveredbythisproductfamilystandard.Inparticularthisstandardcannotbeusedtodemonstrateelectromagneticcompatibilitywithotherequipment;nordoesitspecifyanyproductsafetyrequirementsotherthanthosespecificallyrelatedtohumanexposuretoelectromagneticfields.NOTE5Procedurestodemonstratecompliancearenotspecifiedforthewholefrequencyrange.
