【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesameansbywhichsamplesofgeosyntheticsmaybeselectedtoprovideastatisticallyvalidsamplefortheselectionoftestspecimenswithoutpreviousknowledgeofthevariabilitythatmayexistbetweenproductionunits.TheprinciplesstatedinPracticeD4271,andtheillustrativetextinthatpracticecanbeusedbytestmethodauthorsinpreparingsamplingstatements.Thispracticegivesthreeproceduresforsampling:oneformanufacturer''squalitycontrol(MQC),oneformanufacturer''squalityassurance(MQA)testing,andathirdforpurchaser''sspecificationconformancetesting.Forthisreason,testmethodscontainingasectiononsamplingthatrequirestheuseofthispracticeshouldcontainastatementinthesectiononreportingsimilartothefollowing:x201C;ReportwhichprocedurefromPracticeD4354wasusedforsampling:ProcedureAforManufacturer''sQualityControl(MQC),ProcedureBforManufacturer''sQualityAssurance(MQA)Testing,orProcedureCforPurchaser''sSpecificationConformanceTesting.Manufacturer''sQualityAssuranceisdoneinternallytoensurethemanufactureroftheMQCprogram.Whenitisrequiredtoprovidecertificationtoapurchaserastoqualityassurance,theMQAtestingistobedonebyanexternalMQAtestingfacility.1.1Thispracticecoversthreeproceduresforthesamplingofgeosyntheticsfortesting.Thispracticerequiresthatinstructionsontakinglaboratorysamplesandtestspecimensbepartofeverytestmethodforgeosynthetics.1.1.1Thefirstproceduredescribesthesamplingofproductionunitsforthepurposeofmanufacturer''squalitycontrol(MQC)(Table1).1.1.2Thesecondproceduredescribesthesamplingofproductionunitsforthepurposeofmanufacturer''squalityassurance(MQA)testingduringthemanufacturingprocess.Thisrequiresthatbackupstatisticalprocesscontrolrecordsbemaintainedduringthemanufacturingprocess(Table2).1.1.3Thethirdproceduredescribesthedivisionofshipmentsofgeosyntheticsintolotsandthedeterminationoflotsamplesizeforpurchaser''sspecificationconformancetesting(Table3).1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.TABLE1NumberofUnitstobeSelectedasLotSamplex2014;Purchaser''sSpecificationConformanceNumberofUnitsinLotNumberofUnitsSelected1to2
