【摘要】:Volatilesolventsareusedinavarietyofchemicalprocesseswhichmaybeaffectedbywater.Therefore,thistestmethodprovidesatestprocedureforassessingcompliancewithaspecification.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofwaterinvolatilesolventsandchemicalintermediatesusedinpaint,varnish,lacquer,andrelatedproducts.1.2Thistestmethodisnotapplicableinthepresenceofmercaptans,peroxides,orappreciablequantitiesofaldehydesoramines.1.3Forpurposesofdeterminingconformanceofanobservedoracalculatedvalueusingthistestmethodtorelevantspecifications,testresult(s)shallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.5Forhazardinformationandguidance,seethesupplier''sMaterialSafetyDatasheet.
